Turn left onto Route 12 towards Kallaste. Follow Route 12 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Kallaste. Once in Kallaste, look for signs directing you to Üügu Cliff. The cliffs are located on the coast, and you may need to navigate through local roads to reach the viewing points. There are no tolls on this route, but ensure your car is in good condition for the journey.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Kuressaare to Kallaste. Buses operate regularly, and you can check schedules at the local bus station or online. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Kallaste, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach Üügu Cliff. Follow the signs towards the coastline, and you will find walking paths leading to the cliff. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for return trips, as services may be limited on weekends.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Kuressaare. Take Route 10 north towards Kärla, then follow the same Route 12 towards Kallaste. The total distance is about 30 kilometers, and it is a scenic route with beautiful views of the countryside. Once you reach Kallaste, you can bike to the cliffs, which are easily accessible from the town. Ensure you have a good map or GPS device to guide you along the route.
