From the center of Tallinn Old Town, head towards the Viru Gate, a well-known landmark. Exit the Old Town through the gate and continue straight along Viru Street. After about 500 meters, you will reach Freedom Square (Vabaduse väljak) where the War of Independence Victory Column is located. It is a prominent monument in the square, easily visible as you approach.

If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take tram line 3 or 4 from the nearest tram stop in the Old Town, which is near the Town Hall Square. Board the tram and travel towards the 'Tondi' or 'Kopli' direction, respectively. Get off at the 'Vabaduse Väljak' stop. The War of Independence Victory Column will be directly in front of you as you exit the tram. Note that a single ticket costs approximately €2, and it's best to purchase it from the ticket machine located at the tram stop.
