If you are already in Tallinn Old Town, the Tallinn City Museum is easily accessible by foot. From the Town Hall Square (Raekoja Plats), head east towards Vene Street. Continue straight for about 400 meters; you will pass by several shops and cafes. The museum is located at Vene 17, just on your right, right before you reach the main road. Look for the sign indicating the museum entrance.

While Tallinn Old Town is compact and walkable, if you are further away, you can take a tram to reach the vicinity of the Tallinn City Museum. Use Tram Line 2 or Tram Line 4 and get off at the 'Viru' stop. From there, head towards the Old Town entrance, which is a short 10-minute walk. Once you are in the Old Town, follow the directions provided for walking.

If you are driving, you can enter the Old Town through the 'Viru Gate' entrance. There are limited parking options, so be prepared to park in a nearby public parking facility. The closest one is the 'Viru Keskus' parking garage. Once parked, exit the garage and walk towards the Old Town. Follow the walking directions provided above to reach the museum at Vene 17.
