Getting There

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the city center (Tallinn's main square), walk to the 'Tallinn, Vabaduse väljak' bus stop. Take bus number 34A towards 'Pirita', and ride for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Maarjamäe' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk. Head east on Pirita tee, and you'll see Maarjamäe Castle on your right.

  • Public Transport - Tram and Foot

    Start at the 'Tallinn, Vabaduse väljak' tram stop. Take tram number 1 towards 'Kopli'. Transfer at 'Harku' station to bus number 34A towards 'Pirita'. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at 'Maarjamäe'. Walk about 5 minutes east on Pirita tee to reach Maarjamäe Castle.

    If you are in the vicinity of Kadriorg Park, you can walk to Maarjamäe Castle. Head north from the park entrance towards Pirita tee. Once you reach Pirita tee, turn left and walk about 1.5 kilometers. You will see Maarjamäe Castle on your left.
