Unwind at the Serene Shores of Pirita Beach

Getting There

• Public Transport - Tram

  Start your journey at the nearest tram stop, which is most likely 'Tallinn' station. Board tram number 1 (direction: 'Kesklinn') or tram number 2 (direction: 'Kadriorg'). Disembark at the 'Pirita' tram stop. From here, it is a short walk to the beach. Follow the signs towards 'Pirita Beach' for about 10 minutes until you reach the sandy shores.

• Public Transport - Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus, head to 'Tallinna bussijaam' (Tallinn Bus Station). Take bus number 21 or 21B towards 'Pirita'. You will need to get off at the 'Pirita' stop. After exiting the bus, follow the path leading to the beach area, which should only take about 5-10 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the city center, you can also walk to Pirita Beach. Begin at the 'Freedom Square' and head northeast towards 'Tallinna Lauluväljak' (Tallinn Song Festival Grounds). Continue along the coast, following the promenade for approximately 5 km. The walk will offer beautiful views of the bay and will take around 1 hour. Once you reach the beach area, you will see signs directing you to Pirita Beach.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more active route, consider renting a bicycle. There are several bike rental services available throughout Tallinn. Once you have a bike, head towards the 'Tallinn Old Town' and follow the bike paths along the coast towards Pirita. The distance is about 7 km and should take around 30 minutes. You'll enjoy scenic views along the way, making it a pleasant ride to the beach.
