From the main building of Tartu University, head southeast on Ülikooli Street towards Jaani Street. Continue walking straight for about 400 meters until you reach Jaani Street. Turn left onto Jaani Street. The 19. sajandi linnakodaniku muuseum will be located on your right at Jaani 16, just a short walk of approximately 200 meters.

You can take bus number 8 from the nearest bus stop at Tartu University. Board the bus and ride for two stops (approximately 5 minutes) until you reach the 'Jaani' bus stop. From there, walk about 150 meters northwest on Jaani Street to reach the 19. sajandi linnakodaniku muuseum located at Jaani 16.

If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Tartu University and head south on Ülikooli Street. Continue straight and turn right onto Jaani Street. Drive for about 600 meters.
