Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the main building of Tartu University, exit the building and head south towards Ülikooli Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Turu Street. Turn right onto Turu Street and continue walking until you reach Uppsala Street. Tartu Tähetorn will be located on your left at Uppsala 8, approximately a 15-minute walk from the university.

From the main building of Tartu University, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Ülikooli Street. Take bus number 3 or 7 in the direction of 'Lõunakeskus'. After about 5 stops, get off at the 'Uppsala' stop. Tartu Tähetorn is just a short walk from the bus stop, located at Uppsala 8. The bus fare is approximately €1.50.

If you are driving, exit Tartu University and head south on Ülikooli Street. Continue onto Rüütli Street, then turn right onto Turu Street. Follow Turu Street until it turns into Uppsala Street.
