Walking
If you are starting from Tartu's central bus station (Tartu Bussijaam), exit the station and head southeast towards the main road, Riia Street. Turn left onto Riia Street and walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Turu Street. Continue straight onto Turu Street until you see the Town Hall Square (Raekoja plats) on your right. The square is a prominent landmark with the Tartu Town Hall building.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Tartu's central bus station (Tartu Bussijaam), take bus number 2 towards 'Tammelinna'. After approximately 5 minutes, get off at the 'Raekoja plats' stop. Once you disembark, you will find yourself directly at the Town Hall Square. The square features the Town Hall and is surrounded by various cafes and shops.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Tartu central park (Tartu Raekoja park). Head towards the main road, and follow the designated bike lanes to the Riia Street. Turn left onto Riia Street, then right onto Turu Street. Continue cycling straight until you reach the Town Hall Square (Raekoja plats), which should be visible ahead. There are bike racks available near the square for parking.
