Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Tartu Town Hall, head east on Raekoja plats towards Jaani street. Turn right onto Jaani street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Ülikooli street. Turn left onto Ülikooli street and continue walking until you see the Tartu University building on your right at Nigula 9. It should take about 15 minutes.

    From the Tartu Bus Station, walk to the nearest bus stop named 'Bussijaam' located just outside the station. Take bus number 8 towards 'Ülikooli' and get off at the stop named 'Nigula'. From there, it is a short walk to Tartu University located at Nigula 9. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes.

    If you have a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the Emajõgi River. Follow the riverbank towards the north until you see the cycling path. Continue cycling along the path until you reach the junction with Tartu University. The university will be on your left at Nigula 9. The cycling route will take around 10 minutes.
