If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Tartu and head southeast on Võru Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vanemuise Street. Turn left onto Vanemuise Street and drive for about 1.5 km. You will find the Jakob Hurda monument at Vanemuise 45b, on your right side. There is street parking available nearby, but please check for parking restrictions.
Public Transportation - Bus
For public transport, take bus number 1 or 2 from Tartu Bus Station. The buses run frequently, approximately every 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Vanemuise' stop. From there, walk approximately 300 meters towards Vanemuise Street, and you will find the Jakob Hurda monument on Vanemuise 45b. Make sure to have a ticket, which costs around €1.50, and can be purchased from the bus driver or at a kiosk.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity, you can walk to the monument. From the Tartu city center, head southeast towards Võru Street and then turn onto Vanemuise Street.
