Car
If you are driving to Harimäe vaatetorn, start from the nearest major town, Valga. Head southeast on Tartu Street (Tartu mnt) towards Põllu Street. Continue straight for about 3 km until you reach the junction with the E263 road. Merge onto E263 (also known as the Tallinn–Tartu road) heading towards Tartu. Drive for approximately 10 km and take the exit towards Mäeküla. Follow the signs to Mäeküla village. The observation tower is located in the woods near the village. There is parking available near the base of the tower.
Public Transportation
To reach Harimäe vaatetorn via public transportation, take a bus from Valga to Mäeküla. Buses are available at Valga bus station. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Mäeküla, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km to reach the observation tower. Follow the signs leading towards the Harimäe vaatetorn, which will take you through a scenic forest path. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance as services might be limited.
