Start from the center of Valga, at the Valga Town Hall. Head south on Pikk Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Tartu Road (Tartu mnt). Cross over to the other side of the road and take a left onto Tartu Road. Walk along Tartu Road for approximately 300 meters. You will pass by a few shops and cafes. After you pass the Valga Central Park on your right, continue walking until you reach Nooruse Park, which will be on your left. The Tar Kiln Monument is located within Nooruse Park. Look for the distinctive monument, which is about 150 meters into the park.
