From the center of Valga, head to the Valga bus station, which is located near the main square. You can take a local bus to Helme. Buses typically run several times a day. Make sure to check the local schedule for exact departure times. Once on the bus, inform the driver you are going to Helme, and they will notify you when to get off. The bus ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes. After disembarking, follow the main road towards the Helme caves, which is about a 15-minute walk.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Valga. Once you have your bike, head east on Vabaduse Street, which will lead you towards the outskirts of Valga. Continue on the bike path, following signs towards Helme. The ride is approximately 10 km and takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching Helme, follow the signs to the caves, which will be clearly marked.
