Getting There

• Car

At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Tartu Street (Tartu tn), continuing straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Follow the signs for Lake Viljandi. You will reach the lake area, where you can find parking facilities nearby.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, begin at the Viljandi bus station. Take bus number 6, which heads towards the Lake Viljandi area. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes, and you should get off at the stop labeled 'Viljandi järv'. From the bus stop, it's a short walk of about 500 meters to the lakeside. Follow the signs directing you to the lake, which is a popular local destination.

• Bicycle

  If you're interested in cycling, there are designated bike paths leading to Lake Viljandi. Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Viljandi.
