Getting There

Car
From Viljandi, take the Tartu road (E263) heading north. Continue on E263 for about 30 km until you reach the junction with Route 2. Take the exit towards Pärnu (Route 2), and continue for approximately 50 km. After passing through Pärnu, take Route 4 towards Häädemeeste. Watch for signs indicating Nigula Nature Reserve. Turn left onto the local road leading directly to the reserve, which is about 15 km from Häädemeeste.

Public Transportation
From Viljandi, take a bus to Pärnu. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Pärnu, transfer to a bus heading towards Häädemeeste. This bus will take you directly to Häädemeeste, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. After arriving at Häädemeeste, you will need to take a taxi to Nigula Nature Reserve, as public transport does not reach the reserve directly. Taxis are available at the bus station, and the fare should be around €15-€20.
