If you're driving from the center of Viljandi, head west on Tartu Road (E263) towards Pärnu. Continue on E263 for about 30 kilometers until you reach a junction. Take the exit towards Pärnu (E263) and continue straight. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will see signs for Riisa. Turn right onto Riisa Road and follow it for about 5 kilometers until you arrive at the Riisa nature trail, which will be on your left.

To reach the Riisa nature trail using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Viljandi Bus Station to Pärnu. Buses run approximately every hour. After arriving at Pärnu Bus Station, transfer to a bus heading towards Riisa. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. The bus will take you directly to Riisa village. Once you arrive in Riisa, the nature trail is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head west on Riisa Road, and follow the signs to the trail entrance.
