Car
If you are driving from Võru town, head southeast on Tartu mnt/Route 7. Continue for approximately 15 km until you reach the sign for Haanja. Turn left onto Haanja road and follow the signs to Suur Munamägi. The last part of the route is a scenic drive through the beautiful Võrumaa countryside. There is free parking available at the tower site.
Public Transportation
To reach Suur Munamägi Tower using public transport, take a bus from Võru bus station to Haanja. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Haanja, it is a 2 km walk to the tower. Follow the Haanja road towards Suur Munamägi; look for signs indicating the route. There may be a small fee for the bus ticket, typically around 2-3 euros.
