Walking
From the center of Võru, start at the Võru Town Hall located at 14 Koidula Street. Head southeast on Koidula Street toward Tamula Lake. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the Tamula area. Continue walking along the lakeside path until you see the signs for Võhandu maraton START, which is located at Tamula, Võru. The total walking distance is about 1.5 kilometers and will take roughly 20-25 minutes.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer public transport, you can take a local bus from Võru Central Bus Station. Look for a bus that heads towards Tamula or Võru County. The bus ride typically takes around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Tamula stop and follow the signs to Võhandu maraton START, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Võru. Start at the Võru Town Hall, and cycle southeast along Koidula Street towards Tamula Lake. Follow the designated bike paths along the lakeside, which will lead you directly to Võhandu maraton START. The biking distance is around 1.5 kilometers, taking approximately 5-10 minutes.
