Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of Big Bend, near the local shops and market. Head east on the main road (route towards Malkerns). Continue walking for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the junction where the road forks. Take the right fork towards Malkerns. Keep an eye out for local signage indicating 'Malkerns'. After about 2 kilometers, you will enter the Malkerns area. Continue straight on the Unnamed Road for about 1 kilometer until you see a sign indicating 'Execution Rock'. The trailhead will be located shortly after the sign, leading you to the rock formation.

Hiking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can take a more direct hiking route from the outskirts of Big Bend. Start by heading south from the town center towards the hills. Look for a well-trodden path leading into the bush. Follow this path for about 3 kilometers, which will lead you towards the Malkerns area. Be cautious of wildlife and uneven terrain. Once you reach the clearing, navigate towards the Unnamed Road and follow it to the Execution Rock trailhead.

Bicycle
For those with bicycles, start at the main square in Big Bend. Cycle east on the main road toward Malkerns. After about 5 kilometers, you will reach the fork in the road. Take the right fork and continue on the road for another 2 kilometers. When you reach the Unnamed Road, follow it for approximately 1 kilometer. You will find the trailhead for Execution Rock along this road. Ensure your bike is in good condition for the journey.
