Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Big Bend, head south on the main road towards Mlawula. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road leading to Mbuluzi Game Reserve. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating the way to Mbuluzi. At the junction, turn right and follow the road for about 1 kilometer. You will see the entrance to Mbuluzi Game Reserve South on your left. The entrance is well marked, and you should also see the reserve's sign.

    Start at the main square in Big Bend. Cycle south on the main road towards Mlawula, which is approximately 2 kilometers away. After 2 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Turn right at the junction, and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. Look for the entrance to Mbuluzi Game Reserve South on your left side. The entrance is clearly marked with signage.

  • Public Transport (Taxi or Minibus)

    From Big Bend, find a local taxi or minibus heading towards Mlawula. You can catch one near the main square or designated taxi ranks. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mbuluzi Game Reserve. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the junction leading to Mbuluzi, ask the driver to drop you off there. From the drop-off point, walk approximately 1 kilometer to the entrance of Mbuluzi Game Reserve South, which will be on your left.
