If you are traveling by car within Lowveld, head towards Maphiveni. From the center of Lowveld, take the MR3 road heading east. Continue on the MR3 for about 20 kilometers until you arrive at a junction near Maphiveni. Turn left onto the V254 road. After approximately 5 kilometers on V254, you will reach the Bird Hide, located at V254+MRJ. Look for signage indicating the Bird Hide as you approach.

For those using public transportation, take a taxi or minibus from the center of Lowveld heading towards Maphiveni. Ensure you inform the driver that you wish to get off at the junction for V254. The fare should be around 15-20 ESwatini (SZL). Once you arrive at the junction, you can either walk (about 5 kilometers) or negotiate with a local taxi for a short ride to reach the Bird Hide. Make sure to ask for the V254+MRJ location as your destination.

If you decide to walk from the junction where you would be dropped off by public transport, follow the V254 road straight. It is approximately a 5-kilometer walk to Bird Hide.
