Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Big Bend, start at the main bus station located on the corner of Main Street and Church Street. Head south along Main Street for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with the road leading towards Ubombo. Turn left onto this road and continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. After you pass the Ubombo Yacht Club, look for Mhlosinga Rest Camp on your right side, just after the yacht club's entrance. The camp is well-marked, and you should see signs indicating its presence.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Big Bend market area. Cycle south along Main Street for 500 meters. Turn left onto the road leading toward Ubombo, and continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the Ubombo Yacht Club on your left. Mhlosinga Rest Camp will be just beyond the yacht club on the right side of the road. This option is quicker and allows for a more enjoyable view of the surroundings.
