Getting There

Car
From Lavumisa Border Post, head north on the N2 highway. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the turnoff for the R66 towards Pongola. Take the R66 exit and turn left onto R66. Follow R66 for about 15 km. At the junction, turn right onto the R69 towards Pongola Game Reserve. Continue straight until you see the signs for White Elephant Safaris. The entrance will be located on your right. This entire drive should take about 1 hour.

Public Transportation
From Lavumisa, take a minibus taxi to Pongola. Minibus taxis usually leave from designated taxi ranks in Lavumisa. The fare is approximately E30-50 (around $2-4). Upon arrival in Pongola, you will need to take a local taxi to reach White Elephant Safaris. Discuss the fare with the taxi driver beforehand, which should be around E100-150 (approximately $7-10) for the trip to the safari lodge. Ensure you have cash available as many local taxis may not accept cards.

If you have rented a car in Eswatini, the process is similar to driving by private car. From Lavumisa Border Post, take the N2 highway heading north. Follow the signs as described previously.
