Car
If you are traveling by car, begin in Mbabane, the capital city of Eswatini. From the city center, head east on the MR3 road. After about 7 kilometers, follow the signs for 'Sibebe Rock'. You will take a left turn onto a gravel road that leads directly to the Sibebe Rock area. There is a parking area available near the entrance. Note that the road can be somewhat rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a taxi or a bus from Mbabane to the nearest drop-off point near Sibebe Rock. Look for local taxis labeled 'Sibebe' or ask the driver to take you to the 'Sibebe Rock' area. The fare is usually around 20-30 Emalangeni. Once you arrive, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of Sibebe Rock. Be prepared for a bit of a hike, as the trail can be steep in some areas.
Walking/Hiking
After arriving at the Sibebe Rock area by car or public transport, you will need to hike to the rock itself. The trail is well-marked but can be steep and rocky, so wear sturdy shoes. The hike from the parking area to the rock takes about 30 minutes. It is advisable to bring water and snacks, as there are no facilities once you begin your hike.
