From the center of Malkerns, head southeast on the main road (MR6) towards Ngwenya. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach a fork. Take the left fork onto the road leading to Ngwenya. Continue on this road for another 4 kilometers until you reach the Ngwenya border post. Lion Cavern Ngwenya is located just beyond the border post. Look for signage indicating the entrance to Lion Cavern.

For a more adventurous route, rent a bicycle in Malkerns. Start at the Malkerns Country Club and cycle southeast on the MR6. After about 2 kilometers, at the fork, veer left towards Ngwenya. Keep cycling straight for 4 kilometers until you reach the Ngwenya border post. Lion Cavern Ngwenya will be located just after the border. Ensure you follow the road signs to reach the entrance.
