Walking
From the center of Malkerns, head west on the main road (MR3) towards Piggs Peak. Continue for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the sign for Phophonyane Falls Nature Reserve. Turn right onto the road that leads towards the reserve. Follow the signs directing you to the Phophonyane Falls Nature Reserve entrance, which is about 1 kilometer down this road. Be sure to keep an eye out for local directional signs to ensure you are on the correct path.

Public Transport (minibus taxi)
Find a minibus taxi heading towards Piggs Peak from Malkerns. The taxi stand is located near the Malkerns Market. Inform the driver that you are going to Phophonyane Falls. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Piggs Peak, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the Phophonyane Falls Nature Reserve. From there, you can walk to the reserve, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs that indicate the direction to the reserve.
