Public Transport
From Mhlume, make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road (M201). Take a bus heading towards Malkerns. Inform the driver that you are going to Mlilwane Game Sanctuary. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Malkerns, you will need to get off at the Vickery Seedlings stop.
Walking
After getting off at Vickery Seedlings, you will see the entrance to Mlilwane Game Sanctuary a short walk away. Head northeast on the M201 road for about 500 meters. You’ll see the entrance to the sanctuary on your right. Follow the signs for the entrance to the sanctuary.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, consider renting a bicycle in Mhlume. Once you have your bicycle, follow the same route as the public transport directions. Cycle along the M201 road towards Malkerns. It’s about 10 kilometers, and the ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Vickery Seedlings, the entrance to Mlilwane Game Sanctuary will be nearby.
