Walking
From the center of Mhlume, head southeast towards the Mhlume Town Hall. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the main road (MR5). Turn left onto MR5 and walk approximately 2 kilometers. You'll pass a few local shops and residential houses. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Mlawula. After 2 kilometers, you’ll come across a small road on your right heading towards Mlawula. Follow this road for another 3 kilometers until you reach a sign for Siphiso Campsite. The campsite is located just off this road, so look for the entrance on your left.
Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle in Mhlume, start at the local market and head towards the main road (MR5). Turn right onto MR5 and cycle for about 2 kilometers. You'll see a few shops along the way. Look for the turnoff on your right towards Mlawula after 2 kilometers. Continue cycling on this smaller road for about 3 kilometers. You'll see a sign for Siphiso Campsite ahead. The entrance will be on your left. Make sure to ride safely and be cautious of any vehicles on the road.
Public Transport
Catch a local taxi or bus from the Mhlume taxi rank heading towards Mlawula. Inform the driver that you are going to Siphiso Campsite. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the junction where the small road leads towards Mlawula. From there, it's about a 3-kilometer walk to the campsite. Follow the road until you see the sign for Siphiso Campsite on your left. Always check with locals or the driver if you're unsure about how far to go.
