If you are traveling by car from central Middleveld, head southeast on the main road towards the direction of Mlawula. Follow the signs for the N2 highway (also known as the MR3 road) and continue to drive for approximately 30 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful landscapes, and it is advisable to keep an eye out for road signs indicating Mlawula Nature Reserve. Once you see signs for the reserve, turn onto the access road which leads directly into the reserve. Ensure you take note of the opening hours as the reserve operates from 6 AM to 6 PM.

To reach Mlawula Nature Reserve using public transport, first, take a bus or minibus taxi from Middleveld to the nearest town, which is Siteki. The fare should be around E20-30.
