Car

If you are traveling by car in the Mkhomazi River Basin, start by heading towards Malkerns. From the center of Malkerns, take the Unnamed Road that leads out of town. Follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach a fork. Keep left at the fork to stay on the Unnamed Road. Continue for another 2 kilometers; you will see a small parking area on your left. Park your vehicle here. The trailhead for the hike to Execution Rock begins just past the parking area.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus or minibus from Mbabane to Malkerns. Buses run frequently throughout the day. Once you arrive in Malkerns, ask the driver or locals for directions to the Unnamed Road leading to Execution Rock. You may need to walk about 1 kilometer from the bus stop to the trailhead. Look for signs or locals who can guide you. There are no public transportation options directly to Execution Rock, so be prepared for a short walk.

Hiking

Once you reach the trailhead, you will embark on a scenic hike to Execution Rock. The hike is about 2 hours long. Follow the marked trail which is well-maintained.
