From the center of Piggs Peak, drive south on the MR3 road. Follow the MR3 for approximately 10 kilometers until you see signs for Phophonyane Falls Ecolodge. Turn left onto a dirt road once you see the sign. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers, where you will reach the entrance of Phophonyane Falls Ecolodge. There may be a small entrance fee for parking, which typically ranges from E20 to E50.

Start at the main bus terminal in Piggs Peak. Look for a 'matola' (minibus taxi) heading towards the Usuthu River Basin. Inform the driver of your destination, Phophonyane Falls Ecolodge, and they will drop you off at the closest point. From there, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers along the dirt road to reach the ecolodge. It's advisable to check with locals for the best matola options and the most recent fare prices, which can vary.

If you are already near the Usuthu River Basin or have arrived from a nearby location, you can reach Phophonyane Falls Ecolodge by walking from Piggs Peak. It is about 10 kilometers from Piggs Peak center, so ensure you have appropriate walking gear. Follow the MR3 road south until you see the turn-off for the ecolodge (approximately a 2-hour walk). Be mindful of traffic and carry water for your journey.
