Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Addis Ababa, head towards the Addis Ababa Stadium located in the Arada area. From the stadium, walk north on Ras Makonnen Avenue until you reach the intersection with Menelik II Avenue. Turn left onto Menelik II Avenue and continue straight. You will pass the National Palace on your right. Keep walking until you reach the 'Entoto Park' sign, which is located at the entrance of the park.

  • Minibus Taxi

    From any central location, find a minibus taxi heading towards Entoto. Look for routes that indicate 'Entoto' or 'Mekonnen' as a destination. Board the minibus, which should cost around 10-15 Ethiopian Birr. Once you arrive at the Entoto area, get off at the last stop. Follow the road leading uphill towards the park entrance. It's approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the minibus drop-off to the park.
