Getting There

  • Walking

    From Meskel Square, head east on Churchill Avenue for about 1 km. At the end of the avenue, turn left onto Arada Road and continue straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach Friendship Park on your right. Look for the entrance marked with a sign.

    If you are at the Addis Ababa Museum, exit the museum and head south on Ras Mekonnen Street. Walk for about 700 meters until you reach the intersection with Arada Road. Turn right and continue for about 300 meters until you see Friendship Park on your left.

    From the National Palace (formerly known as the Imperial Palace), walk north along Meskel Avenue for about 1.5 km. When you reach the intersection with Arada Road, turn right and walk approximately 400 meters. Friendship Park will be on your left.
