Getting There

Walking
From the center of Hawassa, head south on the main road towards the lake. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Hawassa University campus. Turn right onto this road and follow the signs towards the university. Keep walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit, continuing on the same road. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a small sign for Kuywata Mountain on your left. Follow this path, which will lead you directly to the base of the mountain.
