From the center of Awasa, head south along the main road towards the lakeside. Continue cycling for approximately 2 km until you reach the intersection at the lakeside park. Turn right and follow the lakeside path for another 1 km, enjoying the views. You will eventually reach the ferry terminal. From here, take the ferry across Lake Awasa to the other side. Once you disembark, follow the signs to Zege, which is about a 5-minute walk from the terminal.

If you're staying near the lake, start at the Awasa Fish Market, which is a popular spot. Walk south along the lakefront for about 3 km until you reach the entrance of the lakeside park.
