If you are in the city center of Bahir Dar, start at the main square, known as 'Kebele 12'. From there, head north on the main road, which is known as 'Bahir Dar - Gondar Road'. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction where the road branches off towards the left. Take this left turn onto 'Gondar Road'. Continue straight for another 500 meters, and you will arrive at the beautiful Lake Tana, which is a must-see attraction.
