Bicycle
From the center of Bahir Dar, head towards the main road called 'Mekele Road'. You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops nearby. Once on Mekele Road, ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the junction with 'Debre Markos Road'. Turn left onto Debre Markos Road and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. Follow the signs towards 'Blue Nile Falls'. You will pass by small villages and beautiful landscapes along the way. Once you see the signs for the waterfall, you will have to park your bicycle and walk the last few hundred meters to the entrance.

To get to Blue Nile Falls via minibus, walk to the main bus station located near the center of Bahir Dar. Look for a minibus with a sign indicating 'Blue Nile Falls' or ask local vendors for assistance. The fare is usually minimal, around 10-20 Ethiopian Birr. The journey will take about 45 minutes to an hour. The minibus will drop you off at the entrance area of the falls. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk to the viewing area.

If you prefer to walk, starting from the center of Bahir Dar, head towards the Blue Nile River. Follow the riverbank for approximately 10 kilometers.
