Walking
From the center of Bahir Dar, head west towards Lake Tana. Walk along the main road (Bahir Dar - Gondar Road) until you reach the intersection with Sefar Street. Turn left onto Sefar Street and continue straight until you reach the local market. From the market, continue walking straight for about 15 minutes. You will pass several small shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the Maraki Green Area as you near your destination. The entrance will be located on your right side, marked by a small sign.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from the center of Bahir Dar and head west towards Lake Tana. Follow the main road (Bahir Dar - Gondar Road) for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the intersection with Sefar Street, turn left and continue cycling straight. You will pass the local market, and after approximately 15 minutes of cycling, you should see the entrance to the Maraki Green Area on your right. Make sure to look out for the signs along the route.
Public Transport (Bajaj)
Find a Bajaj (a three-wheeled taxi) from any point in Bahir Dar. Tell the driver you want to go to Maraki Green Area. They will know the location. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off near the entrance, which is marked with a sign. Make sure to confirm the drop-off point with the driver before you leave.
