Getting There

    From the center of Bahir Dar, head towards the main road (also known as the Gonder Road). Walk straight until you reach the roundabout at the entrance of the city. At the roundabout, take the exit towards Dek Island using the signs indicating the direction. Continue walking straight for about 2 km until you reach the shores of Lake Tana. Keep walking along the lakeshore until you reach the ferry terminal. You can take a ferry from here to Dek Island which is about 15 minutes across the lake. Once you disembark on Dek Island, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Narga Selassie Church, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the ferry dock.
