Public Transportation
To reach Debre Libanos Monastery via public transport, first take a bus from Addis Ababa to Debre Libanos. Buses leave regularly from the central bus station in Addis Ababa. The fare is usually around 30-50 Ethiopian Birr. Once you arrive in Libanos, you may need to take a local taxi or a 'bajaj' (three-wheeled vehicle) to get to the monastery, which is about 10-15 minutes away from the bus station. The taxi fare should not exceed 100 Ethiopian Birr.
