Car
From Debre Libanos Monastery, exit the monastery grounds and turn left onto the main road. Follow the road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the junction at Abaro. Turn right at the junction and continue straight for another 2 kilometers. You will see the signs for የፖርቹጋል ድልድይ (Portuguese Bridge) on your left. There is a small parking area available near the bridge.
Public Transportation
From Debre Libanos Monastery, look for a local minibus or 'bajaj' (three-wheeled taxi) heading towards Abaro. Inform the driver that you want to go to የፖርቹጋል ድልድይ. The fare is typically around 20-30 Ethiopian Birr. The ride should take approximately 20 minutes. Once you reach Abaro, ask the driver to drop you off near the signs for the bridge, which is about a 10-minute walk from the main road.
