From the center of Debre Markos, head east along the main road (Bole Road). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Tana Road. Here, you will see a large sign pointing towards Karl Square. Turn left onto Tana Road and continue for another 500 meters. Karl Square will be on your right, a prominent open space where locals gather, with plenty of benches and greenery.

If you are renting a bicycle, start from the Debre Markos City Hall. Pedal west along the main thoroughfare (Bole Road) for approximately 2 kilometers.
