Start at the Dire Dawa City Center, which is easily accessible by foot. Head south on the main road (Bole Road) for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the main market area. Continue straight, keeping the market on your left. After approximately 500 meters, you will come to a small roundabout. Take the first exit onto the road heading southeast. Walk for another 1 kilometer, passing by several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Ashawa. After about 15 minutes of walking, you should arrive at JV22+837, which is the location for Ashawa.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from the Dire Dawa Railway Station. Exit the station and head southeast on the main road. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the main market area. Turn left and cycle along the market road for about 500 meters. Continue straight until you reach the small roundabout, take the first exit heading southeast. After cycling for about 1 kilometer, you will see Ashawa located at JV22+837 on your right-hand side. The bike ride should take around 15-20 minutes.

To reach Ashawa using public transport, head to the nearest minibus station in Dire Dawa. Look for a minibus that is heading towards the direction of the market area or 'Bole'. Once you board, confirm with the driver that they will take you to the market area. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. After arriving at the market, disembark and walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. From there, take the first exit and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You'll find Ashawa at JV22+837 on your right-hand side.
