    Start from the center of Dire Dawa, at the main market area (Merkato). Head south on the main road, known as 1st Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with 2nd Street. At the intersection, turn left onto 2nd Street. Walk along 2nd Street for approximately 500 meters until you reach a roundabout. Take the exit towards Unnamed Road (look for signs indicating directions to the cemetery). Continue down Unnamed Road for about 1 kilometer. The Commonwealth War Cemetery will be on your right, marked by a sign and entrance gate.

  • Bicycle

    If you are renting a bicycle, start from the main entrance of the Dire Dawa Railway Station. Head west on 1st Street towards the center of town. Continue cycling until you reach the main market area (Merkato). From there, take the southbound route on 1st Street. After 1 kilometer, turn left onto 2nd Street and cycle for about 500 meters. At the roundabout, exit onto Unnamed Road and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. The cemetery will be located on your right-hand side, clearly marked.
