If you are in the central area of Dire Dawa, start by heading towards the main market area, known as 'Dire Dawa Bazaars.' From the market, locate the main road, which is 'Hawassa Road.' Walk towards the direction of the 'Dire Dawa Stadium.' After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach a junction. At this junction, turn left onto 'Seluam Street.' Continue walking straight for approximately 10 minutes. You should be able to see the Selam Hotel ahead on your right, near the park.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Dire Dawa. Start your journey from the city center and head towards 'Hawassa Road.' Cycle along this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with 'Seluam Street.' Turn right onto Seluam Street. Continue cycling straight for about 500 meters. The Selam Hotel will be on your right, just before reaching the park.
Public Transport (Minibus)
Find a local minibus that is heading towards the park area. These minibuses often have signs indicating their route. Once you board, inform the driver that you wish to go to Selam Hotel. After a short ride, usually around 5-10 minutes, the driver will drop you off at a stop near 'Hawassa Road.' From there, walk a short distance along 'Seluam Street,' and you will see the Selam Hotel on your right.
Taxi (Bajaji)
Look for a Bajaji (three-wheeled taxi) in the central area of Dire Dawa. Tell the driver you want to go to Selam Hotel near the park. The ride should take approximately 10 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right in front of the hotel, allowing you easy access to your destination.
