From the central area of Gondar, head south on Azezo Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection near the Gondar Castle. At the intersection, turn left onto Gonder - Bahir Dar Road (also known as the main road that leads towards the Royal Enclosure). Walk for about 200 meters, and you will see the entrance to the Royal Enclosure on your right. Look for the signs directing you to the historical site.

If you are near the Fasil Ghebbi or the central market area, exit the market and head west towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn right and walk for approximately 500 meters. The Royal Enclosure entrance will be on your left after passing a few local shops and eateries.
