Getting there

Walking

From the center of Harar, start at the Harar Jugol (the old walled city). Head north on the main road, known as Jiga Street, and continue towards the outskirts of the city. After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll reach the intersection with the road leading towards Shenkor. Take a left at this intersection and continue walking for about 2 kilometers until you see a signpost indicating the direction of Qundudo Mountain.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle in Harar city center. Begin your ride from the Harar Jugol and head north on Jiga Street. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn left at the intersection towards Shenkor. Continue riding for about 2 kilometers. The road will become slightly uphill as you approach the base of Qundudo Mountain. Look for signposts directing you to the mountain along the way.

Local Buses (if available)

Find a local bus or minibus heading towards Shenkor from the Harar bus station. Board the bus and ask the driver to drop you off near Qundudo Mountain. It is advisable to mention 'Qundudo' clearly to ensure you get off at the right stop. Once you get off, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of Qundudo Mountain.
