Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Harar, start at the Harar Jugol (the old walled city). Head north on the main road, known as Jiga Street, and continue towards the outskirts of the city. After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll reach the intersection with the road leading towards Shenkor. Take a left at this intersection and continue walking for about 2 kilometers until you see a signpost indicating the direction of Qundudo Mountain.

    Rent a bicycle in Harar city center. Begin your ride from the Harar Jugol and head north on Jiga Street. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn left at the intersection towards Shenkor. Continue riding for about 2 kilometers. The road will become slightly uphill as you approach the base of Qundudo Mountain. Look for signposts directing you to the mountain along the way.
