From the mosque, head east on the main road (Hawelti Road) for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Gedeo Street. Turn right onto Gedeo Street and continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the end of the road. At the traffic circle, take the second exit onto the road heading towards Babile. Continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way, which can serve as good rest stops. Keep an eye out for local signs directing you towards Babile. Once you reach the outskirts of Babile, look for the coordinates 68HV+GHV, which is where Raaciga (Somali Restant) is located. It’s recommended to ask locals if you need further directions once you get closer to Babile.

  Begin your trip at the Harar Bus Station, where you can rent a bicycle. Once you have your bike, head south on the main road towards the city exit. Follow the road signs directing you towards Babile. The trip is approximately 10 kilometers and can take around 30-45 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
