Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Harar Old Town (a UNESCO World Heritage site), head towards the eastern exit of the old town. Walk along the main road, which is known as the 'Bishoftu Road.' Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on Bishoftu Road. Continue walking straight for another 10 minutes until you see a sign for Sharoo Garden. The entrance is on your right after the sign, and you will recognize it by the lush greenery and park surroundings.

    If you are at the Harar Market, exit the market area and head northeast towards the main road. From the market, turn left onto the main road and walk for about 20 minutes. You will pass by several small shops and residential areas. After about 15 minutes, keep an eye out for the roundabout, where you will turn right onto Bishoftu Road. Walk along this road for 10 minutes until you see the entrance to Sharoo Garden on your left.
