If you are driving from anywhere in Lake Langano, head towards the main road leading out of the lake area. From the Lake Langano area, take the road towards the town of Shashemene. After approximately 20 kilometers, look for the sign indicating Tora. Turn left onto the road towards Tora. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the village of Ilosi Dori. Elos Mountain (የኢሎስ ተራራ) is located near the village, with the coordinates approximately 7.8952° N, 38.3417° E. You may need to ask locals for the exact path to the mountain, as it might not be well-marked.

Public Transportation
To reach Elos Mountain using public transportation, start at Lake Langano and take a minibus or bus heading to Shashemene. This will cost you around 20-30 Ethiopian Birr. Once you reach Shashemene, you will need to catch another minibus heading to Tora. This leg of the journey may cost you an additional 10-15 Ethiopian Birr. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Ilosi Dori. After disembarking, you can either walk towards Elos Mountain, which is approximately 3 kilometers away, or ask locals for directions. It's advisable to have a local guide or someone who speaks the language to assist you.
